Design & Engineering
Our engineering team is always ready to help you optimize your performance and costs with our design and simulation services. We have a ministry-approved R&D center.
Molding Lines
For high quality and fast production, we cast on 2 HWS and 1 DISAMATIC molding lines.
Core Shop
Our core shop is equipped to produce cores weighting between 0.44 lb - 110.23 lb (0,2-50 kg) including complex geometries. We manufacture our own cold-box cores.
Cleaning & Finishing
For superior surface quality, we use our robotic grinding option to remove residual molding materials from the casting surface and complete the finishing process.
Quality Control & Labs
We subject both our cast and machined parts to measurement processes that meet our customers' increasing precision and quality expectations. This ensures flawless and accurate results.
CNC Machining Process
With more than 45 automated machining centers and lathes efficiently process gray and ductile iron castings ready for assembly.
Warehousing & Logistics
We meet the needs of the US, Mexican and Canadian markets with our large storage capacity and advanced warehouse management systems.
FAQ
What creates the difference in lead times?
Lead times vary depending on the project stage. For new parts, Pattern & Tooling typically takes 4-6 weeks as it involves engineering and CNC machining. Once the sample is approved, regular Production Casting is much faster, usually taking 2-4 weeks. We strive to meet your deadlines with our high-capacity molding lines.
Do you provide in-house machining or outsourcing?
We provide 100% in-house machining. Unlike many foundries that outsource, Ferro Castings is equipped with over 45 CNC units (Lathes and Machining Centers). This "One-Stop Shop" approach ensures tighter quality control, lower costs, and faster delivery for our customers.
What certifications do you hold?
We operate under the highest quality standards. We hold IATF 16949:2016 certification for the automotive industry and ISO 9001:2015 for general quality management. Additionally, our facility maintains full material traceability and utilizes advanced testing (X-Ray, Spectral Analysis) to guarantee compliance.
