APQP, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and G R&R are the Quality Core Tools implemented in our facility. These five complementary techniques support the rigorous expectations of our IATF 16949 certification.

Mechanical Testing

We conduct destructive mechanical tests to determine strength, ductility, and hardness. This ensures every casting complies with material standards and meets functional requirements for its intended application.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

NDT methods allow for 100% inspection of parts without causing damage. We detect surface and internal anomalies, such as porosities or cracks, ensuring total casting soundness before reporting to the customer.

Chemical Analysis

Spectral chemical analysis ensures that casting materials meet international standards and specific customer requirements, guaranteeing desired metallurgical properties.

Yes. Ferro Castings is fully certified under IATF 16949, the global technical specification and quality management standard for the automotive industry. We strictly adhere to APQP, FMEA, and PPAP protocols for all automotive projects.
Can you perform 100% Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on parts?
Absolutely. Since our NDT methods (X-Ray, Ultrasonic, MPI) are non-invasive, we can perform 100% inspection on critical safety parts to detect internal porosities or surface cracks without damaging the component, ensuring zero defects reach your assembly line.
What kind of dimensional reports do you provide?
We provide comprehensive dimensional reports using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) data and 3D Laser Scanning. These reports verify that the cast part matches your technical drawings and CAD models within the specified tolerances.
Do you verify material composition in-house?
Yes, our internal laboratory is equipped with Spectrometers for spectral analysis, Carbon-Sulfur analyzers, and microscopic equipment for microstructure control (nodularity checks). We verify the chemical and metallurgical properties of every melt batch before pouring.
